Welcome to the Duckuza! Whether you are here by happenstance or intentionally here for more information, resources, or just being a bit curious, allow me to not only welcome you but to also say thank you. Thank you for being you. You are the only you there will ever be and that is something pretty kickass. This site is meant to be a centralized place for the community to have access to a number of different resources, news, or other information regarding a wide range of topics. Within this site there are the community’s rules, information about me, my blog, and more. So, welcome and thank you again for taking a little time out of your day to share a part of it with me. If you haven’t already, please join the discord and let’s live life together. No matter what you may be dealing with the burden gets a whole lot lighter when you have others to help shoulder the load. So, whether it’s “ducks fly together”, or “ducks strong together”… welcome to the Duckuza.
welcome ;
the name ;
What in the world is a “Duckuza”? Pretty neat name, right?! Right? For years one of the running tongue in cheek jokes was that t3r0’s community, followers, etc. were all just one big Waddle Mafia with t3r0 (a.k.a. “Duck”) as the head of it. So, during an overhaul of some things and an update of other things the term “Duckuza” was born as a playful take on a duck themed Yakuza. I suppose this is where any responsible person would insert the disclaimer that regardless of any name, the site, community and t3r0 as a streamer in general bear no real or perceived connection with any organized – or unorganized – criminal organization. If anything, we’re criminally unorganized at best.
the mission ;
The mission is simple. Make the world a better place. Now, I’m not so arrogant as to believe that as one person I can change the world. What I can do, however, is provide an environment whether through my streams, discord, or any other platform that is welcoming. Providing an example of how things could be. And I don’t mean in the bubble wrap all of the things and protect all the precious snowflakes kind of mentality. What I mean is here, we discuss the things that matter. Here, we discuss the difficult topics. We are open and transparent about life’s problems. But, we have those discussions with all due civil discourse, respecting each other’s beliefs and opinions regardless of whether or not we agree with them. One of the biggest disservices I feel that we’ve done to society is to teach people that there are topics we don’t discuss, instead of teaching people how to have a difficult conversation respectfully. Feeling anxious? We talk about it. Slipping into a depression? We talk about it. Struggling with PTSD/CPTSD? We talk about it. We make the world a better place. One person, one interaction at a time.
